UK based gothic/prog/alternative metal band Hilltops Are For Dreamers are set to release their new EP "The Tragedy Of Being Human" on February 16th. This EP is great! All three songs are absolute bangers that really left me wanting more. My favorite was the second track, Hyacinth. I really liked the mixture of clean and heavy vocals as well as the riffs which almost had a black metal feel. Also the ending of the final track is just so melodic and absolutely beautiful. This band has such a unique sound. They use elements from so many different genres and put them together in a way that works incredibly well. I'm happy to see that this EP is starting to get some well deserved media attention. It's really good and I definitely recommend checking this one out!
