First off, if you missed our interview with The Palace of Tears, check it out here ! This band is absolutely killer, and I'm super stoked that I got to hear their new song early! It's wonderfully dark ethereal and atmospheric elements, layered with some gorgeous riffs and operatic vocals combine to create a gothic masterpiece. It sounds so melancholy and just downright heartbroken. There's just so much emotion and pain in this song. It's so well done, and an absolute perfect choice to be the title track on their upcoming album. So beautifully done. This is one you'll definitely want to listen to. But have the box of tissues nearby, you're going to need it.
My gut reaction to these prompts is usually to buy the fewest watches with whatever budget James gives me. So far, this is the way I collect link – buy less, buy better. But, recently, I found myself missing a GMT while traveling (I don't link own link one in real life) or generally finding myself wanting a few more watches. So here I am, spreading things out a bit.
I was tangentially aware of Trilobe from Instagram, and I remembered seeing the brand listed as participating in link the Carré des Horlogers section of independent brands at Watches & link Wonders, but I had yet to dive link in and properly learn about the brand's background and M.O.
When Nicholas was a kid, his uncle had a Ferrari, link and this link Girard-Perregaux F300 link Ferrari Chronograph – both of which Nicholas thought were pretty cool. That uncle promised him the watch one day, but actually gave it to Nicholas's brother, along with another watch. Nicholas did eventually end up with the GP, and wears it often – and hopes to wear it while driving a Ferrari one day.
