I am absolutely tickled to be amongst the first to see the new October Noir video for "A Halo Hung From Horns". And perhaps literally. Because I haven't laughed this hard in a hot minute. This video absolutely perfectly captures the spirit of this band. They know what they're doing, they know what they sound like, and people need to fuckin lighten up about it. If this video has one message, it's "Why the fuck are you takin us seriously? We don't even take ourselves seriously." And that my friends is a beautiful thing. This video is beautifully shot, includes a gazillion Easter eggs, nods to 80's trash horror, and had me absolutely in stitches. It's an absolutely perfect way to kick off 2024, and I hope you all have a damn sense of humor and enjoy it as much as I did.
