Our friends Dual Analog dropped a new single recently! Pale Visage has a very 80's pop meets 90's industrial type vibe to it. Very Tears For Fears-esque. The riffs, the synths, and Chip's velvety vocals come together to form an incredibly emotional song. Although it starts off a little slow, it quickly builds into a very complex track that has me bobbing my head. I did notice that their most recent album, The Wheel (If you missed our interview with Chip talking about The Wheel, check it out here) was a bit more simple -- in all the best ways -- but this track much more complex and shows them not only returning to their roots sound wise, but also doing so in a very polished manner. It really shows how much they've grown and developed over the past few years. I also feel like Chips vocals sound way more confident than in some of their earlier work. This single is fantastic! I look forward to whatever they do next!
