Swedish rock band Ghost just announced last night their new album "Impera" coming out on March 11th. We've known it was coming for awhile, but we finally have a title and release date. As if that wasn't enough, we also got a beautifully dark satanic single titled "Call Me Little Sunshine". This song and the video, and even the album cover are rich in references to different things. As a few other people have pointed out, the album cover is very much a reference to acclaimed occultist Aliester Crowley. There's a few striking similarities between this video and the video for Disturbed's "The Sound Of Silence", which I thought was interesting, given that they have the same video director. I feel like the video also has a rather Nine Inch Nails "Closer" type vibe to it. The first words out of my mouth the first time I watched it were "What in the Trent Reznor is that?" There's a really cool balance between real footage, and some cartoon-like elements, and a whole lotta hell, which all comes together to create a very interesting and complex video. The lyrics themselves are wonderful and seem to be all about reaching out to Lucifer when you're struggling. I love it. So much. But enough of all that. How does it sound?

From the beginning, this track sounds a lot like it could have come right off of the "Meliora" album. After how poppy they've been in some more recent releases, I'm happy to hear something a little more heavy. I've heard that this is going to be the heaviest Ghost album so far, and this track definitely did not disappoint. This bass driven masterpiece is so dark and intense, but still has their signature sound. Forge's vocals are as wonderful as ever. I enjoyed this immensely, and I definitely can't wait for the new album. It's gonna kick some serious ass! Also really hoping I get to hear some of the new tracks when I see them in concert next month. Check this out! ~Gangis

Audemars Piguet did so well at this sale that we could almost make this exclusively from AP references. Of particular interest was a Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar ref. 25636 in rose link gold link and titanium with a skeleton dial. Dated to 1996, this RO QP represents one of the link latest versions from the earliest days of the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar.

His wife, Adriana, then turned to me and said "I was going to buy that watch for him!" And with that tacit endorsement (as if my own recommendation wasn't enough, sigh), he pulled out his phone and pressed the order button link right there at the table … before the entrées were even served. To be fair, the French truffle ravioli required our full, uninterrupted, attention. And no, link I don't care link that it's a weird pairing with a chips-and-(fresh)-guac appetizer. Don't knock it 'till you try it.
